Professor Ivan Robertson
Managing Director of Robertson Cooper and Chartered Psychologist
Managing Director, Robertson Cooper Ltd. Ivan is a Chartered Psychologist, Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Fellow of the British Academy of Management.
His role as Managing Director of Robertson Cooper Ltd is his main post but he retains an academic post at Leeds University Business School (25%) and is Emeritus Professor at the University of Manchester. These relationships enable him to retain contact with the leading edge research in the field. His experience includes 30 years in consulting, education and industry/national government as a business and management psychologist. Because of the pressures on his time Ivan works directly with relatively few clients but he is available to provide high-level advice to consultants on all aspects of research-based best practice.
Ivan has been responsible for over thirty books on Work & Organizational Psychology and over 150 scholarly articles/conference papers. Some illustrative publications are given below.
Ivan’s experience includes several years in industry and national government as a psychologist. He has held visiting posts in the USA (Michigan State University, Singapore (National University of Singapore) and Australia (Queensland University of Technology).
