Oliver Tattan is one of a rare breed of senior public servants turned entrepreneur.

After a career in international manufacturing industries, spanning from the South African goldmines to the assembly plants of Brazil and the clean rooms of Frankfurt’s Mitteleurope, Oliver returned to Ireland to head up An Bord Trachtala. He brings a unique perspective of the challenges facing public policymakers in driving economic growth with the challenges faced by the entrepreneur in taking on emerging markets.

After a time spent restructuring the monopolistic VHI he founded a successful software company before turning to challenge the state in their protected healthcare markets with VIVAS Health.
